The Project Scheduler will report to the Lead Project Scheduler. In addition, you will:Work closely with the project team to develop, maintain, and manage the project schedule, including engineering, construction, and supply chain activitiesPrepare estimates and forecasts during the life-cycle of the project, responsible for reporting schedule deliverables to the project team and the ClientAssist or lead in the creation of comprehensive schedule submissions utilizing Critical Path Methodology (CPM), resource and cost loading as necessaryPrepare the contractor schedule submittals for conformance with the contractsReview critical path, cost loading, schedule content, relationships, and milestonesQualifications About You:3+ years of experience in project scheduling and the utility construction industryExperience in project planning/scheduling within the construction industryProficiency with scheduling software, with a strong preference and priority placed on Primavera, P6, Microsoft Projects, and Microsoft Dynamics 365Requires strong computer skills to include Microsoft Excel and database applications (A practical knowledge test will be required)You have an understanding of critical path methodology to ensure and communicate the timely delivery of milestone tasksMust be self-motivatedPreferencesBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management; Mathematics or Physics preferredMasTec prefers, but does not require, that candidates have experience in the local areaCandidates with certifications received through Oracle, PMI, or other similar organizations are focused on recognition of expertise in Project Scheduling and Earned Value ManagementHard work pays off.
