Description Seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join a growing firm in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of litigation experience, with a preference for exposure to complex litigation matters. This role requires a proactive, organized attorney who can manage a varied caseload and collaborate effectively with both colleagues and clients. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage all phases of litigation, from initial case intake through trial and resolution. u2022 Conduct thorough legal research and draft persuasive motions, briefs, and other legal documents. u2022 Engage in discovery processes, including document review, depositions, and interrogatories. u2022 Utilize case management software and technology to streamline workflows and ensure efficient case handling. u2022 Maintain high standards of data integrity and confidentiality while managing case files. u2022 Collaborate with lead attorneys to deliver reliable and high-quality legal work product. u2022 Navigate multiple deadlines and projects in a fast-paced litigation environment. u2022 Foster positive relationships with clients, staff, opposing counsel, and court personnel. u2022 Take on increasing levels of responsibility to grow as a litigator. u2022 Stay informed about legal developments relevant to personal injury and mass tort litigation. Requirements u2022 License to practice law in Ohio. u2022 4+ years of litigation experience, with a preference for exposure to complex litigation. u2022 Demonstrate exceptional legal research, writing, and communication skills. u2022 Show proficiency in civil litigation processes, including discovery and trial preparation. u2022 Exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high-volume docket. u2022 Display familiarity with case management software and technology tools. u2022 Work effectively both independently and within a team dynamic. u2022 Maintain professionalism and strong interpersonal skills when interacting with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
