JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description Division : Bostik Region: Americas Jobtitle: Production Operator Situation in organisation (enclose a copy ofyour organisation chart) Member of plant operations team. Reports toproduction supervisor. Variable shift depending upon business need. Jobdimensions Produces, inspects, and packages products per batchformulations utilizing various mixing, blending, and packagingequipment. Follows all EHS and Quality procedures to safely producequality product. Records manually and via computer, all material usage,accurately fill out process batch sheets. Activities Follows processbatch sheets to produce quality products per prescribed standards.Adheres to all plant policies, practices, and procedures to ensuresafety, quality, service, and cost objectives are met. PracticesContinuous Quality Improvement in all processes. Participates inBostik's Safety programs to achieve objective of safe behavior and goalof Zero Incidents. Monitors and adjusts equipment as necessary andpermittable to ensure safe and efficient operation. Works cooperativelywith all employees and leadership to meet plant/shift objectives.Maintains an improved level of housekeeping in work area and pletes all required paperwork accurately and legibly. Operatesvarious pieces of equipment including but not limited to: mixers,blenders, packaging lines, forklifts, palletizers, basic hand tools.Uses computer controls to operate equipment. Participates in ContinuousImprovement projects, and Kaizen events. Rotates to other work functionsas required by process flow. Context and environment Works in afast-paced production environment where safety, accuracy and speed areessential. Simultaneously competing priorities require effective andefficient multi-tasking to succeed. Ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbsand walk throughout workday. Ability to work in non climate-controlledenvironment. Works with minimal supervision. Use of productionequipment, material handling equipment, and hand tools. Use of computerfor data management and training. Accountabilities Operates equipmentand reports issues to leadership as needed.
