MEP Project Manager II Mission Critical

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description: Job Description Ryan Companies US,Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a MEP Project Manager II tojoin our National Mission Critical team This individual will primarilybe responsible for the administration of project management tasksrelated to the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protectionaspects of assigned projects, ensuring project delivery meets allrequired specifications on time and within budget. Some things you canexpect to do: Engage in the project preconstruction process focusing onthe MEP trades including developing bid procedures, bid reviews, utilitycoordination, vendor & subcontractor qualifications, estimating andscheduling. Possess a clear understanding of the owner project agreementand communicate to other team members. Develop business relationshipsinternally and externally through effective communication. Provideinsights into Temporary Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and FireProtection systems to support the overall construction site and requiredbased upon overall construction schedule. Effectively buyout, award,contract and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and FireProtection scopes of work. Provide a clear understanding andcommunication of MEP Subcontractor scope of work based upon projectdrawings, specification, owner requirements and project schedule.Assistance with understanding and managing MEP Subcontractor changerequests, progress payments and overall finances. Engage in all aspectsof project financials including establishing budgets, assigning budgetcost code structure, approving invoices, and developing owner payapplications. Manage assigned project team members and subcontractorpartners. Mentor internal team members through delegation andsupervision. Assist in developing project team structures, assigningproject responsibilities, and training team members. Provide feedback toteam members based on job performance. Assist field team with thedevelopment of MEP tasks for Project Schedule. Lead implementation ofthe Project Quality and Safety Plans with MEP Subcontractors. Create,organize, and update owner-furnished and contractor-furnished materialtracking logs, project equipment testing and inspection documentation,and deviation reports.
