As a Field Service Engineer for Agilent,you will work at a variety of labs, so having an appetite forcontinuously learning about new instruments, software and consumables iskey. The ability to help solve customer problems and acommitment to delivering the highest levels of customer service willbuild customer success. Your Role: You will be responsible forsupporting our customers with on-site installation, implementation,maintenance, and repair of company and multi-vendor systems solutions.Our varied product lines include hardware, software and networkingproducts as well as operating systems. Installs and optimizeshardware/software/network products and configurations at customer sites Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems Performsmaintenance and repairs Ensures customer satisfaction by advisingcustomers on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impactproduct performance Proactively responds to potential equipmentissues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business Deliver fully integrated solutions, which may include peripherals,communications, operating systems and applications software Trainother field engineers and customers in the solutions Job Requirement:Meet Agilent approved customer/vendor credentialing requirementsnecessary to gain site access, unless prohibited by law. Theserequirements vary by customer/vendor and may include, but are notlimited to: post-employment background checks, various forms of drugtesting, vaccinations, fingerprinting, proof of valid identification,and/or adherence to customer-specific substance abuse programs. Yourconsent to participate in customer-requested screening is required forthis position. Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or otheruniversity-level degrees in related science fields -- e.g., chemistry,analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or similar are highlypreferred; may consider applicants with an equivalent combination ofeducation, training, and experience. 4+ years of experience workingwith analytical instrumentation, ideally including repair, maintenance,and/or troubleshooting. Experience or expertise with Chromatography(LC ) and Mass Spec (LCMS). Ability to solve high-impact problemsrelated to product availability; typically, system/ solution-focused. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customerrelationship-building skills are essential. This position requiresdaily travel within the assigned territory and is expected to involvefrequent visits to customer sites. Travel requirements may vary byterritory and are expected to be up to 75%. A valid driver's licenseis required for this position. Additional Details This job has a fulltime weekly schedule.
