About the Role Join our mission-driven pharmacy benefits team focused on helping people living with diabetes access the therapies and supplies they rely onu2014quickly and safely. As a Pharmacy Technician, youu2019ll be central to daily operations: processing prescriptions, verifying patient information, resolving insurance claims, and supporting pharmacists in delivering safe, patient-centered care. Youu2019ll work across pharmacy systems, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and help create a seamless, accurate, and empathetic patient experience. Weu2019re looking for someone detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment - someone with a track record of clean claims processing, strong communication, and effective teamwork. If you enjoy problem-solving and making a measurable impact, this role is for you. + Review work queues (new prescriptions, refills, prior authorizations) + Verify patient and prescriber information; gather and document missing data + Conduct benefit investigations and support clean claim processing + Triage issues (NDC changes, plan limitations, PA requirements, copay support, COB) + Communicate with payers to resolve claim and coverage issues + Engage prescribers and clinic staff for clarifications and documentation + Partner with pharmacists and operations teams to resolve exceptions What Youu2019ll Do (Daily Responsibilities) Prescription Intake & Data Accuracy + Verify patient demographics, prescriber credentials, and prescription details + Maintainaccurate, complete, and compliant documentation Claims & Benefit Support + Perform benefit checks and support clean claims processing + Assistwith prior authorization workflows (clinical info, forms, status updates) + Support coordination of benefits, transfers, and overrides Patient & Provider Communication + Contact patients for missing information,copayupdates, consent, and delivery coordination + Communicate with prescribers for clarifications, refills, and documentation Quality, Compliance & Safety + Adhere to federal/state pharmacy laws, HIPAA, and company policies Operational Excellence + Manage work queues efficiently; meet turnaround and accuracy SLAs + Identifyworkflow gaps and suggest process improvements Required Knowledge and Experience + Pharmacy Technician Certification from a board-approved/accredited program + Active Pharmacy Technician license with the Texas Board of Pharmacy + High school diploma/GED with 4+ years of experience, ORAssociateu2019sdegree with 2+ years, OR Bacheloru2019sdegree with 0+ years Nice to Have + Experience with diabetes therapies, insulin delivery devices, or CGM products + Familiarity with specialty pharmacy or durable medical equipment (DME) workflows + Hands-on experience with pharmacy systems (e.g., adjudication platforms, prior auth tools) + Strong understanding of insurance claim troubleshooting and payer requirements + Bilingual (English/Spanish) Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position. PR) locations (USD):$48,800.00 - $73,200.00 The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
