Based in Michigan, Zeeland Lumber & Supply operates truss and wall panel component manufacturing plants along with full-service building material yards that distribute lumber and an expansive range of specialty products, such as windows, doors, roofing, cabinets, decking, and interior and exterior trim..u00a0A Brief OverviewThe Door Assembler I is responsible for assembling pre-hung door components. This person will stock lumber, plates and other work-related materials and supplies, and will also band/stack finished products.u00a0What you will dou00a0Work on a pre-hung door assembly line.u00a0Stock doors, frames, plates and stock components for door assembly.u00a0Assemble components under the direction of the line leaders.u00a0Load and band finished materials on carts/pallets inside and/or outside.u00a0Receive incoming products, commodities, and materials.u00a0Maintain work area by keeping it neat and organized.u00a0Assist in the set-up of component assembly process.u00a0Monitor production workflow process assisting other areas as needed.u00a0Operate all equipment necessary to the assembly process.u00a0Assist in maintaining an organized work environment which may include emptying trash receptacles and keeping all bays/staging areas clean and organized.u00a0Provide excellent customer service and participate in a positive work environment.u00a0Monitor inventory as required by location management.u00a0Retain an awareness of the work environment critical to the task at hand to produce error free and damage free results.u00a0Required For All Jobsu00a0Perform other duties as assigned.u00a0Comply with all policies and standards.u00a0Adhere to Company's commitment to workplace safety.u00a0Participate in and complete assigned trainings.u00a0Education Qualificationsu00a0High School or equivalent work experience required.u00a0Experience Qualificationsu00a0Prior carpentry experience preferred.u00a0Skills and Abilitiesu00a0Must be able to read a tape measure and use a hammer.u00a0Ability to learn to operate equipment such as routers, saws, presses, and staple guns.u00a0Available for overtime as needed.u00a0Additional Potential Opportunities based on experience:Door Assembler IIDoor Assembler Lead.u00a0Zeeland Lumber & Supply, a Division ofu00a0US LBM Holdings, LLC, is an equal-opportunity employer.
