Job Description Day-to-day responsibilities: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operations. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime, supporting production goals, and extending the life of equipment through preventive and corrective maintenance. The Maintenance Technician works closely with operations and engineering teams to identify issues, implement effective solutions, and uphold safety and quality standards. Through timely response, technical expertise, and adherence to maintenance best practices, this position supports operational efficiency, equipment reliability, and a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities: u2022u2003Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. u2022u2003Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and implement timely, effective repairs. u2022u2003Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production support requests to maintain operational continuity. u2022u2003Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and recommend corrective or improvement actions. u2022u2003Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage in maintenance logs or systems. u2022u2003Support equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements in collaboration with Operations and Engineering. u2022u2003Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe work environment. u2022u2003Assist with maintaining spare parts inventory and coordinating with vendors as needed. u2022u2003Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency. u2022u2003Communicate equipment status, risks, and repair timelines clearly to supervisors and production teams Lots of overtime available and working Saturdays
