JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Set Marker + Lays out foundation for monument, using rule and staked lines + Digs trench for foundation using pick and shovel + Mixes mortar and pours mortar into trench to prepare foundation for setting base stone + Removes sections of monument from truck bed and guides stone onto foundation, using skids, hoist, or truck crane + Aligns and levels stone, using rule, square, plumb line, wedges, and crowbar + Spreads mortar on stone with trowel and sets subsequent sections of stone in position according to numbers or letters marked on stone + Fills joints between stone with mortar and finishes joints, using trowel + Removes excess mortar from monument, using water and brush + Works as member of team to erect monuments + Performs other duties as assigned MINIMUM Requirements Education + Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent Experience + Requires a minimum of 2 yearsu2019 experience in stone masonry or in a related field Knowledge, Skills and Abilities + Ability to read land plots + Ability to operate golf cart + Ability to work with various masonry tools + Ability to lift 50 lbs. + Legible written communication Work CONDITIONS Work Environment + Work indoors and outdoors during all seasons and weather conditions Work Postures + Frequent lifting, bending, and kneeling Work Hours + Working beyond u201cstandardu201d hours as the need arises Postal Code: 33186 Category (Portal Searching): Cemetery Maintenance Job Location: US-FL - Miami Job Profile ID: F00235 Time Type: Full time Location Name: Memorial Plan Dade South Memorial
