As a Mechanical Engineering Professional, part of our Cities and Places team, you will be an integral member of the design team. You will have the opportunity to perform building mechanical analysis and design for a wide range of projects locally, nationally, and around the world, producing technical reports, construction drawings and technical specifications. Specific Mechanical design efforts will entail design for manufacturing, education and healthcare facilities, data centers, planning studies, water and wastewater treatment facilities. Additionally, your expertise will be leveraged to help support pipe sizing calculations, pump selection, piping systems, chemical systems, HVAC Design, and hydraulic studies.Our projects bring innovative solutions to our clientsu2019 worldwide. You will have the opportunity to grow professionally through challenging projects and working closely with our multi-discipline design teams, Senior Project Managers, and our clients. If you are up for the challenge, we have been looking for someone just like you.#LI-HA1 u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in mechanical engineering.u2022 Professional Engineering registration (P.E.) or ability to obtain.u2022 Range of 7-15 years relevant professional experience for infrastructure and building-related design projects.u2022 Ability to perform as a lead mechanical engineer.u2022 Experience working in a multi-discipline team with excellent verbal and written communication skills.u2022 Construction support services experience.u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.u2022 Strong interpersonal skills.u2022 Experience with US building codes: IMC, UMC, ASHRAE 90.1/62.1/62.2, IPC, IBC.Ideally, youu2019ll also haveu2022 Experience using building BIM drafting software (AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit).u2022 Practical, hands-on experience and/or construction support.u2022 Project Management Experience.u2022 Experience with alternate delivery (Design-Build, CMAR/CM-GC and/or EPC projects).u2022 Experience in developing project level of efforts for building mechanical design.Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
