Registered Nurse - RN - MSICU

Employment Type: Full time Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift Description: Position Purpose: At Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center , the Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) delivers patient care to individuals in critical condition. What You Will Do: + Assume responsibility for Critical Care Patients, conducting assessments, devising care plans, and adjusting critical drips to ensure hemodynamic stability and appropriate sedation levels. + Attend to patients requiring advanced monitoring, heightened observation, utilization of invasive equipment, and administration of intricate medication regimens. Minimum Qualifications Required: + Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associateu2019s degree in Nursing is required + Valid RN license in Connecticut + Candidates with a minimum of one year of acute inpatient nursing experience will be considered for training. Preferred : + Candidates with a minimum of one year of acute inpatient nursing experience will be considered for training + BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) + ACLS certification, support available for certification post-hire. Position Highlights: + Full-Time: 36 hrs/week u2013 Night Shift + Rotating weekends and holidays + Specialty pay available for experienced nurses with one or more years of RN experience. + Hourly position, included in RN Step Program pay range: $36.15 to $59.95.
