Job Title: Architectural Designer u2013 Commercial, Industrial & Retail FacilitiesJob Description This office specializes in retail market projects, supplyu2011chain facilities, and commercial building design, delivering creative, innovative, and costu2011effective architectural solutions for clients nationwide. We are seeking a highly skilled architectural professional with advanced BIM and AutoCAD capabilities and demonstrated experience producing construction documents for structural steelu2013framed buildings, tiltu2011wall concrete structures, insulated metal panel systems, and commercial masonry facilities. Key Responsibilities + Collaborate with staff to meet project and program requirements. + Research and apply jurisdictional zoning regulations, siteu2011planning standards, and building codes. + Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, regulations, and project requirements. + Monitor production progress and communicate expectations with senior staff. + Prepare design drawings, BIM models, and project specifications as directed. + Coordinate tenantu2011interior packages with core & shell design documents. + Integrate architectural models with structural, mechanical, and electrical systems. + Develop architectural details and technical drawings for construction documentation. + Participate in technical discussions with contractors, consultants, clients, and project teams. + Prepare and submit documents for jurisdictional plan review and permitting. + Respond to plan review comments, RFIs, and construction submittals. + Review and interpret project budgets, schedules, and contracts. + Conduct onu2011site construction observations to ensure compliance with contract documents. + Travel to job sites as required. Required Skills + Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, hand sketching, building codes, and architectural design workflows. + Strong technical ability in construction documentation and detailing. + Ability to coordinate multiu2011disciplinary design packages. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Registered Architectural License required. + LEED AP and/or NCARB certification preferred. + Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite. + Intermediate handu2011sketching ability required. + Advanced knowledge of construction detailing and construction specifications. + Building code knowledge and demonstrated application experience required. + Experience with industrial warehouse and distribution facilities (IMP wall systems, freezers/coolers, crossu2011dock layouts) strongly preferred. + Minimum 6 years of experience in an architecture firm preferred. + Minimum 10 years of handsu2011on production experience preferred. + PEMB (Preu2011Engineered Metal Buildings) experience a plus. Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $94000.00 - $110000.00/hr.
