Job Summary: A Custom Assembly Teammate is responsible forcompleting all Work Order Processing (WOP) and kitting orders for thebusiness. Orders include adding value to stock components per customdrawings and specifications from our customers. Type of work may includeengraving, assembly, pre-fabrication, kitting, wire processing or anynew services. This role is key to the timely and accurate customsolutions for our customers in the electrical industry. Hours: 1:30 PMto 10:00 PM Monday through Friday Compensation: $18.50/hr Bonus:$1,000 starting bonus + $2,400 annual bonus potential EssentialFunctions Perform assigned duties in a safe manner, following companypolicies including proper PPE, Housekeeping, and reporting of nearmisses and incidents. Produce Work Orders (WO) according to the bill ofmaterial, pictorials, drawings, and/or customer specifications attachedto the WO. Adhere to quality checks assigned by WO including checklists,inspections, testing, packing, and labeling of product to meet customerexpectations. Prioritize work by due date, expedite orders as necessary,and notify supervisor of any discrepancies. Meet quality control needsto manage costs of miscellaneous items and supplies, as well as minimizescrap and rework. Punch in and out of Standard Time to track time spenton each WO. Organize materials, keep work area clean, and log and fileWO. Use hand tools and machinery (i.e. wire processing machine, pokestripper, crimping machine, wire striper, laser engraving machine,rotary engraver, pipe threader, pipe bender, strut cutter, wire pullingmachine, etc.) to process customer orders. Use computer aided programs(i.e. Amazon Photos, Eclipse, Tecsys, Brady Workstation, Gravograph,Kappa 300, Microsoft Office, etc.) to process orders, run machines,maintain databases, document repeat orders, and communicate amongst teammembers.
