Branch Coordinator - Floorcovering Field Technician

Reference #: 2606623This position supports sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams floorcovering store and coordinates installation through independent contractors to service wholesale floorcovering customers. In this role, you will assist in scheduling installations and ensure installation is conducted consistent with expectations.The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Store #5243, located at: 1510B E Columbia St,Allentown, PA, 18109-1574.Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the general public.Support the sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams floorcovering store, servicing wholesale customers.Assist the Branch Manager in developing and implementing floorcovering installation plans to assist in meeting the store's budgeted sales and profit goalsAssist Sherwin-Williams sales representatives in field measurements including cut sheets, seam diagrams, and product specificationsEnsure all customer orders are accurately measured and cutPerform on-site inspections of installations to ensure customer satisfactionEnsure all installer transactions are handled properly through store computer operating system and records are properly maintainedDetermine floorcovering installation training needs and require training as appropriateMinimum Requirements:Must be at least eighteen (18) years of ageMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the futureMust have a valid, unrestricted Driver's LicenseMust be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasionMust be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodationPreferred Qualifications:Have at least a High School diploma or GEDHave at least one (1) year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service positionHave previous work experience selling floorcovering and/or floorcovering productsHave previous work experience installing floorcoveringHave the Carpet and Vinyl Installation Certification by the Carpet and Rug InstituteAbility to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one languageAbility to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish#SHWSalesSherwin-Williams is proud to be an Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity, Inclusion and Diversity Supportive Employer.
