Our culture is performance-driven, team-oriented, and focused on doing the job right while providing long-term career opportunities About the Role Chenega Corporation is seeking a Senior HR Generalist with a strong talent acquisition background to support our corporate team in Anchorage. This role is approximately 50% recruiting, managing fullcycle hiring for corporate and professional roles, with the remaining time spent supporting core HR generalist functions. This is a handson, executionfocused role ideal for an experienced recruiter who also enjoys broader HR work and partnering with managers on daytoday people needs. The role is a full-time in-office role at our headquarters in Anchorage, AK. Relocation is not provided. Responsibilities What Youll Do Recruiting & Hiring (Primary Focus) + Lead fullcycle recruiting for corporate positions, from intake through offer + Partner with hiring managers to define needs, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews + Post jobs, source candidates, draft interview questions, and support selection decisions + Prepare and extend employment offers in alignment with policy and compliance requirements + Deliver a positive, professional candidate experience HR Generalist Support + Support onboarding and newhire orientation activities + Serve as a point of contact for routine HR questions and employee lifecycle needs + Assist with employee relations, performance management, and HR documentation + Provide support related to FMLA, ADA, and PWFA + Help maintain HR systems, SharePoint content, and process documentation + Participate in special projects and provide operational HR support as needed What Were Looking For + Proven experience in fullcycle recruiting + Solid foundation in HR generalist functions + Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fastpaced environment + Strong communication and organization skills + Experience in a corporate or professional services environment preferred Why Join Chenega Youll play a key role in strengthening our talent pipeline while staying engaged in the broader HR function. Qualifications _Minimum Qualifications:_ (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.) + Bachelors degree in human resources, business, or a related field; or two additional years of human resources administration as a substitute for degree. + Three more years progressively responsible work experience illustrates human resources experience in at least two of the following areas: recruitment, employee relations, training, performance management, ADA/FMLA, or HRIS) + Ability to pass a background check and drug screening + Ability to pass a background check and drug screening _Preferred Qualifications:_ + Experience working for a for-profit corporation strongly preferred. + Experience working for an Alaska Native Corporation strongly preferred. + PHR/SHRM-CP strongly preferred.
