Shipping & Logistics SpecialistScottsdale, AZPay Estimated: $18.00-$20.00/HourResponsible for preparing, processing, and tracking outgoing shipments by selecting appropriate carriers, packaging materials correctly, completing required documentation, and ensuring compliance with shipping procedures—including handling of classified materials.Responsibilities:Process outgoing shipments in accordance with company, customer, and regulatory requirementsDetermine proper carrier selection, routing, and transportation methodsPackage products by selecting appropriate packaging, cushioning, and labelingPrepare and complete all required shipping documentation (., bills of lading, shipping reports)Use internal computer systems to route, track, and process shipmentsVerify quantity, weight, and material conformance against documentationPost shipping charges and route merchandise to final destinationsCoordinate shipment flow with planning, materials management, purchasing, and productionSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to shipping and material movementParticipate in team meetings and assist with daily task prioritizationHandle and process classified materials in compliance with security requirementsOperate forklifts or other powered industrial vehicles and lift heavy items as requiredQualifications:. Citizenship is required by Federal LawEducation: High School Diploma or equivalentExperience: Minimum 2 years of related shipping, logistics, or material handling experienceCertifications: Relevant shipping or material handling certifications preferred, if applicableTechnical Knowledge & Skills:Shipping and logistics processesCarrier selection, routing, and transportation schedulesPackaging and material verificationShipping documentation and bills of ladingComputer-based shipping and tracking systemsSpecialized Experience:Experience handling classified materials preferredPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift heavy itemsAbility to operate forklifts or powered industrial vehiclesWork Environment:On-site role; supports manufacturing and production operationsMoseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer.
