PLEASE POST ANNOUNCEMENT NO. 53606 POSITION TITLE: COURT ANALYST JG: 18 LOCATION: APPELLATE DIVISION, THIRD DEPARTMENT HUMAN RESOURCES & FISCAL OFFICE ALBANY, NEW YORK BASE SALARY: $64,971 CLASSIFICATION: NON-COMPETITIVE/CONFIDENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: One year in the Assistant Court Analyst title; or Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university and one (1) year of relevant experience; or Master's degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university; or An equivalent combination of education and experience. DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF WORK: Court Analysts work under direct supervision, individually or on project teams, performing confidential analysis, research, planning, and other related duties in one or more of the following areas: budget development and court finance; personnel administration; resource allocation; and court system management and administration. ASSIGNMENT: This position will be assigned to the Court's Human Resources & Fiscal Unit. Duties include but are not limited to: assisting with processes related to benefits transactions, payroll transactions, Human Resources data, and integrity; ensuring compliance with contracts and regulations for vendor selection; preparing and entering a wide variety of accounts payable transactions in the Statewide Financial System (SFS) such as vouchers, purchase orders, and contracts; assisting with the Court's annual budget preparation and submission; ordering supplies; assisting with inquiries from Judges, employees, vendors and the public; acting as liaison with the OGS Building Manager's office; and performing other related duties as assigned by the Principal Management Analyst and Clerk of the Court.
