Understand and apply the best practices to complete a part.? Hold tight tolerances, and use precision measuring instruments toperform first piece inspections.? Understand and utilize Machine Shop Math, and decipher angles,dimensions, tolerances, etc.? Proactively and reactively resolve issues by effectively usingavailable resources.? Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.? Work with a variety of materials, including: aluminum, titanium, steeland composite.Key Competencies? Load and square material.? Maintain a clean, safe workplace and adhere to safety policy.Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentThis job operates primarily in the shop environment, and in an officeenvironment. This role routinelyuses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers,filing cabinets and faxmachines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee isoccasionally exposed to fumes orairborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noiselevel in the work environment andmanufacturing sites can be loud. Requires wearing appropriate PPE incertain areas of the workplace.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those thatmust be met by an employee tosuccessfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularlyrequired to talk or hear. High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).? Minimum of seven (7) years of CNC Machinist experience required? Firm grasp of Machine Shop Math.3 JOB-DESCRIPTION CNC-MACHINIST 01-25-2018? Experience using precision measuring instruments.Preferred Educatio n/Experience? Ten (10) or more years CNC Machinist experience preferred.?
