For more information, click here.Role SummaryThe Senior People Analytics Analyst will support the needs of the business and the People and Culture department through data, reports, dashboards, and insights. This role combines analytical rigor with clear data storytelling to drive impact.Lead the design and delivery of workforce analytics to support strategic HR and business decisionsTranslate complex data into actionable insights and compelling narratives for senior leadershipMonitor trends and KPIs across the employee lifecycle (e.g., hiring, retention, engagement)Establish data governance protocols and collaborate with IT and HR Ops teams as neededDrive continuous improvement in data quality and reporting capabilitiesStandardize reporting across HR functions to ensure consistency and claritySupport ad hoc reporting needs for HR leadership and cross-functional partnersEstablish and steward a centralized library of HR metrics, definitions, and reporting standardsConduct data analysis and visualization to support organizational understanding, planning and forecasting , compliance reporting, historical trend analyses, and leadership decision-makingEnsure high data quality through audits, validation, reconciliation, and cross-system checks.Partner with IT to resolve data and data model issues and schedule deliverables based on resource availability and priorityEnsure alignment between HR systems and analytics strategyAct as a strategic thought partner to HR leaders and cross-functional teamsBachelor's degree in HR or IT, or equivalent combination of education and work experience5+ years of experience as a data analystDirect experience supporting an HR functionAdvanced PowerPoint and Excel skills (PivotTables, lookups, data validation); experience building dashboards and reportsOracle experience preferredTableau or PowerBI experience preferredAbility to interpret complex datasets, reconcile system data, and troubleshoot discrepanciesAbility to communicate the story of data through visualizations and/or narratives, translating technical concepts into easily digestible and meaningful documentsAbility to anticipate, identify, reproduce, and resolve complex problems in the area of HRIS Delivery and DataStrong written and verbal communications skillsAbility to Influence without AuthorityAbility to work effectively at all levels of the organizationWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. This represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Suffolk’s total compensation package. Actual salaries may be based on several factors including, but not limited to, skill set, experience, education and other qualifications. Suffolk offers a comprehensive benefits package as part of its overall compensation strategy. Salary ranges may differ by geography and are reviewed regularly to reflect market trends.
