The Senior ERP Functional Analyst is a strategic role responsible for leading ERP initiatives that align with organizational goals. This position provides advanced functional expertise, oversees complex ERP configurations, and ensures seamless integration across finance, supply chain, HR, and manufacturing processes. The analyst partners with business leaders to optimize workflows, manage system upgrades, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and compliance. Acting as a subject matter expert, this role also mentors junior analysts, drives change management, and ensures ERP systems meet evolving business needs.Record to Report (RTR)Supports enterprise financial close, reporting, and compliance through:Oracle Fusion ERP FinancialsThis role owns financial accounting, period close, reporting, and audit support processes, enablingaccurateandtimelyfinancial insight.**This position requires Eastern or Central Time Zone availability.**“For this position, qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Cook does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status for this employment position now or in the future.”Lead full-cycle ERP implementations, upgrades, and migrations.Analyze business requirements and translate them into ERP configurations and functional specifications.Configure ERP modules (Finance, Procurement, HR, Supply Chain) and validate system changesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize enterprise-wide processesManage testing phases (unit, integration, UAT) and ensure quality assurance.Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolve high-priority ERP issuesDevelop and maintain system documentation, including functional designs, process flows, and user guidesMentor junior team membersEnsure compliance with data security, governance, and ERP best practicesEngage with senior management to align ERP strategies with business objectivesAddress day-to-day issues and support business operations based on priorities Perform impact assessments for ERP upgrades Coordinate feature/function changes with Sustainment Team Support users on product questionsAddress and facilitate the resolution of product issuesAbility to create functional designs and configuration changes Facilitate release management and regression testing Conduct system testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal performance Train users and maintain system documentationManage data migration, compliance, and vendor coordination Generate reports and support decision-makingAnalyze business needs and translate them into functional ERP specifications Configure and maintain ERP modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Manufacturing) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements Support ERP system upgrades, patches, and integrations. Conduct functional and regression testing; ensure quality assurance Provide end-user support and training for ERP applications Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptlyEssential Regional or Country RequirementsEducation and/or Work ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business, related field or equivalent experienceMinimum 7 years of relevant experience, (ERP systems experience- SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics preferred)ERP Certifications (SAP/Oracle Cloud, or equivalent) preferredKnowledge and Skills and/or AbilitiesThis role requires fluency in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data concepts, including the ability to critically evaluate AI outputs, improve workflows using approved tools, identify and mitigate bias or inaccuracies, and communicate AI-driven insights clearly and responsibly to peers and managersExpertise in ERP systems and business process managementStrong understanding of ERP modules and business processesExperience in Application Management Service Delivery​Functional process analysis and Oracle Cloud configuration, with strong problem-solving skills, end-to-end process knowledge, and hands-on support of application management and service deliveryStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skillsExcellent interpersonal skills with ability to influence others at various levelsGood working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeProven problem-solving skills across a matrix organizationExcellent organizational skillsHighly motivated self-starterAvailability and willingness to travel on company business based on requirements of the role (domestically and internationally)Requires occasional early morning or evening teleconferencesPhysical RequirementsWorks under general office environmental conditionsSits for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity working with computers, etc.
