Description National firm is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join their team in the Bay Area. This position is ideal for detail-oriented candidates with 1-4 years of experience handling insurance litigation and a proven ability to manage complex cases. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage all aspects of litigation cases, including drafting motions, handling discovery processes, and preparing for court proceedings. u2022 Conduct depositions effectively to gather critical information for case strategy. u2022 Perform detailed legal research and analysis to support case development and resolution. u2022 Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop and execute comprehensive legal strategies. u2022 Present findings and arguments proficiently during court appearances and client meetings. u2022 Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards throughout case management. u2022 Handle insurance coverage disputes with a high level of accuracy and care. u2022 Stay updated on relevant laws and precedents to provide informed counsel. u2022 Travel occasionally for case-related matters as required. u2022 Participate in firm-wide initiatives and activities to enhance detail oriented growth. Requirements u2022 Must hold an active attorney license in California. u2022 Possess 2-4 years of experience in civil litigation, particularly in insurance coverage. u2022 Demonstrated ability to draft motions and manage discovery processes. u2022 Proven expertise in conducting depositions and presenting cases in court. u2022 Strong academic credentials and exceptional writing skills. u2022 Proficiency in legal research and the ability to present findings clearly. u2022 Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. u2022 Willingness to travel occasionally for case-related obligations.
