Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled professional to join our team. The successful candidate must have an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology. Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is a plus. Our ideal candidate knows how to operate MRI machines efficiently, can make patients feel comfortable before and during the scanning procedure, and coordinates with the patient's physician to ensure results are received in a timely manner. Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to stand for extended periods are essential.Responsibilities Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to help them feel comfortable Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information Perform patient care tasks as neededQualifications Two (2) years of experience in a similar role BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY) Experience with Client or Siemens MRI scanners is required Certification through the ARRT or a similar organization is preferred and must be willing to obtain this after startingSpecific Equipment Familiarity All Non-Contrast exams Routine MSK Neuro Spine Occasional body MRI All Non-Contrast exams Routine MSK Neuro Spine Occasional body MRIScheduleFull-time for the first two weeks, transitioning to weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 6:30am to 7:00pm.
