MDM Data Quality & Cleansing Specialist

Description We are looking for an experienced MDM Data Quality & Cleansing Specialist to join our team in Wayne, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will play an integral part in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of master data across various domains within a manufacturing environment. This is a long-term contract position that requires someone with strong attention to detail and expertise in Master Data Management and data governance principles. Responsibilities: u2022 Research and resolve fallout records resulting from match and merge processes, ensuring compliance with established business rules. u2022 Perform detailed data cleansing activities including standardization, deduplication, and formatting corrections to maintain data quality. u2022 Validate data survivorship outcomes to ensure they meet stewardship and governance expectations. u2022 Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address recurring data exceptions. u2022 Collaborate with data governance teams, business stakeholders, and operations personnel to resolve complex data issues. u2022 Monitor data quality dashboards and exception reports to proactively identify and address inconsistencies. u2022 Execute bulk data updates and corrections in adherence to change control protocols. u2022 Document remediation decisions and maintain audit trails to support compliance and governance standards. u2022 Escalate policy-related or complex data issues to appropriate teams for resolution. u2022 Support ongoing stewardship processes by contributing to the development and refinement of data governance frameworks. Requirements u2022 At least 2 years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or a related data operations role. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables and data cleaning techniques. u2022 Hands-on experience with MDM tools, such as Informatica or similar applications. u2022 Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. u2022 Familiarity with business rules, matching logic, and survivorship frameworks. u2022 Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. u2022 Experience with match merge workflows or entity resolution processes is preferred. u2022 Knowledge of data governance frameworks, quality standards, and metadata management principles is advantageous.
