Drywall Estimator Job Description The Drywall Estimator will assist in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial drywall and related projects. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn the trade, develop strong estimating skills, and grow into a position over time. Responsibilities + Review project drawings, specifications, and bid documents. + Assist estimators with quantity takeoffs for drywall, framing, ceilings, and related scopes. + Prepare bid packages, proposals, and maintain organized records of bids, budgets, and revisions. + Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing. + Support project handoffs from estimating to operations. + Stay up to date with industry standards, products, and construction methods. Essential Skills + 0u20132 years of construction or estimating experience (internship or field experience is a plus). + Estimation, bidding, blueprint reading, and construction management. + Proficiency in using estimating software. + Ability to perform quantity takeoffs for drywall, framing, and ceilings. + Knowledge of bid packages, proposals, and RFIs. + Experience in working with subcontractors and understanding commercial construction pricing. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 2-6 years of construction or estimating experience (internship or field experience is a plus). + Degree or coursework in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. + Skills in project management, purchasing, budgeting, and general contracting. + Experience in quoting and cost estimating. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Collegeville, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00/hr.
