Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.76 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Tue12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Wed12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Thur12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sun12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: + Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location. + Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while coordinating with hospital personnel and public emergency responders as needed. + Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. + Monitor access points and sensitive areas, verify authorized entry, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site protocols. + Prepare accurate incident, patrol, and activity reports, and provide clear communication during shift handoffs regarding ongoing security-related issues and/or observed trends. Minimum Requirements: + Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. + Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. + Possess an armed guard card and/or license. + Be at least 21 years of age. + Access control and badge experience is preferred. + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Participate in industry-specific security training programs. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driveru2019s license will be required for driving positions only.
