Job Title: BIM / VDC Digital Delivery SpecialistJob Description In the role of Digital Delivery Lead / BIM Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing digital model environments and deliverables at the project level, possessing advanced understanding of multidisciplinary interactions and construction document production. Responsibilities + Provide direction for Digital Delivery Coordinators and Specialists. + Manage the digital model environment and deliverables at the project level. + Work directly with the Project Manager to assist in generating and maintaining the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and project initiation procedures. + Establish server infrastructure, discipline models, and digital deliverables as outlined in the project scope. + Execute digital deliverables and support production teams throughout the complete lifecycle of projects. + Provide technical support and communicate the deliverable schedule to the project team. + Monitor the model health and coordination processes of the project from planning through to the issuance of construction documents. + Execute tasks autonomously and mentor other team members. + Oversee and contribute to the development and maintenance of the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP). + Monitor and oversee the establishment of the document management system and maintain server infrastructure for multi-discipline projects. + Ensure the team has the appropriate software, versions, access, and training needed for project execution. + Generate and maintain model setup to accommodate disciplines and project requirements. + Monitor and maintain company standards and model health. + Host Digital Delivery coordination meetings to ensure optimal quality control. + Communicate, coordinate, and compile all project digital deliverables at predetermined milestones. + Engage in effective communication and presentations with management, production staff, and clients. + Mentor staff to develop their skillsets and provide guidance for Project Managers. + Engage with other Digital Delivery Leads to provide support and guidance. + Ensure project archiving at submittals and closeout. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM), Project Coordination, and 3D Design. + Experience with Revit, Navisworks, and understanding of Architecture, Structural, and MEP disciplines. + Advanced skillset in 3D design software and document management infrastructure. + Advanced skillset in 3D Coordination tools. + Advanced skillset in Microsoft Office products and communication tools. + Comprehensive understanding of discipline relations and building systems operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Technical degree or a combination of education and relevant experience. + A minimum of 5 years of digital design (BIM element authoring) and 5 years of digital delivery (model management) experience. + Familiarity with industry standards, practices, discipline codes, and specifications. + Familiarity with basic automation and programming applications for efficiencies. + Familiarity with 3D design software add-ins and supporting applications. + Familiarity with content creation and management concepts. + Superior client service, communication, and presentation skills. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and leadership traits. + Strong organizational skills to prioritize technical support requests and project work. + Enthusiastic, energetic, with an excellent work ethic. Work Environment The individual will work in the office 3-5 days a week, following a flexible 3 & 2 schedule. The role requires adaptability to meet the needs of the project and team. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $70.00/hr.
