Assistant Superintendent

Job Title: Assistant Superintendent Job Description Join a top general contractor as an Assistant Superintendent for an exciting 8-story hotel project in Raleigh, NC. This role requires excellent communication skills and a minimum of 2 years of experience as an assistant superintendent with a general contractor. You will play a key role in overseeing the project from start to finish, ensuring smooth operations and effective management of subcontractors. Responsibilities + Assist in overseeing and managing the construction project from ground up. + Coordinate and manage all trade partners and subcontractors effectively. + Provide leadership and guidance to other staff members on the project. + Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and maintain safety on site. + Read and interpret technical specifications and architectural drawings. Essential Skills + Minimum of 2 years experience as assistant superintendent with a general contractor. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, BlueBeam, and scheduling software such as MS Project, Primavera, or Phoenix. + Ability to read and understand technical specifications and architectural drawings. + OSHA training certification. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Federal experience is a nice to have but not required. + Experience in projects valued at $1M or more. + Experience with Building Information Modeling. Work Environment This role is on-site with working hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Conditions may vary depending on project demands.
