About this Role : Wells Fargo is seeking a Vice President to join the Portfolio Strategy & Credit Administration team within the Corporate and Investment Bank. This role is responsible for helping oversee the Corporate Banku2019s credit portfoliou2014an integral component of the firmu2019s balance sheet. The team plays a critical role in managing risk limits in alignment with the enterprise-wide risk appetite, overseeing regulatory reporting, managing effective business controls and implementing credit policy frameworks in collaboration with key internal stakeholders. The Vice President will lead efforts to standardize and enhance portfolio monitoring practices, leveraging advanced analytics to proactively assess and manage credit performance. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in credit portfolio management, strong analytical capabilities, and a proven ability to drive cross-functional initiatives within the Banking environment. The Vice President will collaborate with partners across Coverage, Underwriting, Corporate Treasury, Finance, Capital Management and Enterprise Risk to support disciplined portfolio management and strategic growth strategy. In this role, you will: + Lead regulatory reporting processes, limit framework tracking, and enterpriseu2011wide portfolio routines + Partner with Underwriting, Treasury, Coverage, Finance, and Risk to gather inputs and create materials for transaction and portfolio reviews + Participate in crossu2011functional initiatives aimed at enhancing portfolio monitoring, standardizing analytics, and improving reporting infrastructure + Engage with risk modelling professionals on model development + Monitor, assess, and report on asset quality, portfolio trends, emerging risk themes and credit policy exception trends + Analyze clientu2011level, industryu2011level, and portfoliou2011level data to craft strategies on appropriate capital allocation and inherent risk management + Produce polished, executiveu2011ready PowerPoint presentations for senior management, risk committees, and crossu2011functional forums + Apply line of business and subject matter expertise to serve as a consultant and resource regarding credit, credit portfolio, and risk strategies Required Qualifications: + 5+ years of Credit Consulting Portfolio experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: + Strong understanding of wholesale credit, capital markets, corporate lending, and banking concepts + Experience with wholesale banking risk management and portfolio management practices + Experience working with large datasets or reporting/BI tools + Demonstrated interest in developing expertise in portfolio strategy and credit risk + Strong verbal, written and project management communication skills + Familiarity with bank loss models and forecasting techniques a plus + Strong Excel skills (modeling, financial calculations, data analysis) + Strong PowerPoint skills, with the ability to produce executiveu2011ready presentations + Strong analytical, problemu2011solving, and organizational skills + Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Job Expectations: + Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across teams + Ability to work in a fastu2011paced environment with strict deadlines + Ability to interact with senior leaders and crossu2011functional partners + Willingness to work on-site in accordance with current office requirements Posting Locations: + 500 West 33rd St. - New York, New York 10001 + 550 S Tryon St. - Charlotte, North Carolina 28202 Pay Range: + New York City - Pay Range: $225,000 - $225,000 Pay Range Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location.
