Revit Technician

Job Title: Revit Technician Job Description This role focuses on transforming Revit models into precise production drawings to guide the construction of modular residential and commercial projects. You will collaborate closely with the Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) team, engineers, and production staff to ensure designs are coordinated, code-compliant, and ready for fabrication. Responsibilities + Create and refine Revit models for structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes. + Produce production-ready drawings and bill of materials for modular construction. + Support engineering and production schedules with timely, accurate documentation. + Coordinate models with architects, engineers, consultants, and suppliers. + Maintain organized, cloud-based document control. + Contribute to standards, templates, and modeling best practices. + Mentor junior team members and interns. + Provide support to the production floor and manage smaller projects when assigned. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Revit with 1-5 years of experience. + Drafting and design experience in structural, electrical, and mechanical disciplines. + Experience from the engineering side. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong understanding of Revit. + Engineering mindset is beneficial. Work Environment The role requires a full-time presence in the Albertville office, working five days a week. The team consists of approximately six Revit technicians, including specialists in electrical, engineering, and architecture, as well as entry-level drafters. Being part of a newer company, flexibility is essential as standards are still being developed. The position involves working in an office setting and occasionally on the production floor. The role is internally client-facing, necessitating comfort in interacting with different departments and project managers. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albertville, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00/hr.
