Job Title: Sr. Process Development TechnicianJob Description The Senior Process Engineering Technician supports the development, validation, and production of medical devices within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role involves close collaboration with NPI, Quality, and R&D Engineering teams to build, test, troubleshoot, and improve processes and equipment used in the production of implantable and non-implantable medical devices. The technician is responsible for executing process validations, supporting NPI builds, performing equipment qualifications, and assisting with root cause investigations to ensure product quality, compliance, and manufacturing efficiency. Responsibilities + Execute development builds and identify process improvements. + Train operators to perform manufacturing procedures. + Transfer medical devices from Development to Operations. + Assist in the design of fixturing and procurement of equipment. + Install and maintain equipment and fixturing. + Utilize manual and/or automated measurement equipment/tools. + Draft and optimize manufacturing procedures accurately. + Identify and implement process improvements including equipment qualifications. + Release documentation such as document change records. + Solve problems in a timely manner and understand cause and effect in process development. + Manage and execute development builds and associated build records. + Teach and train others on performing manufacturing procedures. + Work with limited supervision, maintaining a positive attitude. Essential Skills + 2-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. + 2+ years of experience as an individual contributor in Product or Process Development. + Experience in launching devices from Development to Operations. + Strong background in assembly and experience in a cleanroom environment. + Knowledge of medical component or device manufacturing. + Technical aptitude with attention to detail and focus on quality. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to work well with teams and handle confidential information. + Capability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. + Flexibility to handle multiple projects in an organized, timely manner. + Problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure and manage stress. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Proficiency in validation and Solidworks. + Experience in equipment troubleshooting. + Ability to draft and optimize manufacturing procedures. + Understanding of cause and effect in process development. Work Environment The company offers a growing work environment, having expanded over 100% in the last 5 years. The facility is clean and state-of-the-art, featuring a break room. The company hosts numerous events, including lunches, cultural-specific gatherings, and BBQs to foster community spirit. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM on the 2nd shift, with a 30-minute paid break, a 30-minute unpaid lunch, and a 15-minute paid break. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
