Concrete Foreman

Job Title: Construction Foreman Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Foreman to oversee concrete projects. As an on-site Construction Foreman, you will play a critical role in managing schedules, coordinating with project managers to ensure timely material orders, and maintaining effective communication and organization throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities + Manage concrete and masonry projects from inception to completion. + Oversee on-site construction activities and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. + Collaborate with project managers to order materials in a timely manner. + Coordinate and manage a team of up to 35 individuals. + Conduct tool box talks and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) to ensure safety protocols are followed. + Calculate man-hours and prepare 2-week look-ahead schedules. + Maintain effective organization and communication with all team members and stakeholders. Essential Skills + Minimum of 3 years of experience managing concrete or masonry projects. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. + Experience in commercial construction projects. + Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. + Ability to effectively manage and lead a team. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bilingual proficiency is preferred. + Experience in conducting tool box talks and Job Safety Analysis (JSA). + Capability to calculate man-hours and manage scheduling effectively. Work Environment This position requires working on-site for a 5-day workweek at a project located in Bergen County. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kearny, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
