Job Title: Concrete Laborer Job Description As a Concrete Laborer, you will assist with general production duties, focusing on creating custom concrete structures such as panels, flared ends, side walls, and custom forms. You will work within a dynamic team that produces 20-75 structures daily, depending on project flow. Flexibility is crucial, as you may be required to cross-train and work on various projects, including yard work and forklift operations. This position entails both indoor and outdoor tasks, requiring comfort in all weather conditions. Responsibilities + Assist in the production of custom concrete structures. + Operate forklifts for material handling as required. + Perform yard work and maintain cleanliness in work areas. + Cross-train in different areas to support various projects. + Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including wearing safety gear. Essential Skills + Proficiency in handling general labor tasks. + Ability to accurately use a tape measure. + 1+ years of experience with hand and power tools. + Concrete or construction experience with precise measurements to 1/8 of an inch. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with large industrial forklifts is preferred. + Farm work experience is a plus. + Ability to read blueprints. + Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. Work Environment Work in a first-shift environment from 6 am to 2:30/4 pm, with extended hours during the busy season from 5 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Overtime is available on Saturdays from 5 am to 11 am. The facility is similar to a construction site, dusty and not temperature-controlled. The dress code requires a hard hat, jeans, steel-toed boots, and safety glasses. Be part of a team-oriented environment that grows from 60 to around 80 people during peak seasons.
