JOB OVERVIEW We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst , Derivative Technology to play a key role, deliver solutions to our business partners, solve complex problems, and strive to advance and sustain world-class technology platforms. This individual must be a self-starter with a clear vision, and ability to execute on a variety of engagements across our organization. RESPONSIBILITIES u00b7 Participating in architect the firmu2019s derivatives technology platform to optimize software structure and modularization u00b7 Build in data transparency and observability capabilities with coherent design patterns for integration with third party vendor tools u00b7 Manage and coordinate project-based efforts across teams consisting of investment professionals, developers, analysts, QAs, and other stakeholders u00b7 Champion the needs of the business partners; act as their fiduciary u00b7 Develop a deep understanding of internal systems and related workflows around entire investment process to help with solution design as well as handling support issues u00b7 Ensure quality of product by enforcing high standards in testing and building guardrails and validations u00b7 Assist with project management activities u00b7 Provide hands-on analysis for support issues and assist with user training u00b7 Provide regular status reporting and issue tracking on-going projects QUALIFICATIONS u00b7 5 or more years of experience as a software engineer involved in application development life cycles u00b7 5 or more years of software development experience in financial services (with strong understanding of Fixed Income, Equity, FX, and Derivative instruments) u00b7 Proficiency in at least one the follow computer languages: Java (strongly preferred), JavaScript, Scala u00b7 Working knowledge of modern system design, software development principles, and methodologies u00b7 Prior working experience in modern data management life cycle in real-world business contexts u00b7 Comfortable with test driven development, continuous integration, metadata driven software, and agile development methodologies u00b7 Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM development process u00b7 Experience in financial data domain is preferred, especially in derivatives trade and market reference data u00b7 Experience with Amazon Web Services is a strong plus u00b7 Experience in modern data technology stacks, e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Big Query is preferred u00b7 Hands-on experience in SQL or other relational database technologies is desirable u00b7 Bacheloru2019s degree in computer science, mathematics, finance, engineering, or related field is highly desired u00b7 Experience with the Calypso Financial Software is strongly preferred NON-TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS u00b7 Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal are required u00b7 Excellent organization and delivery skills are required u00b7 Excellent written, verbal communication u00b7 Demonstrate strong client focus and relationship management skills u00b7 Willingness to work independently in an energetic, fast-paced, business-critical environment u00b7 Committed to deliver project on time and overcome obstacles u00b7 Strong team player with the ability to work in collaboration across teams u00b7 Strategic mindset u00b7 Strong work ethic u00b7 Intellectual curiosity Not sure you meet 100% of our qualifications? The base salary range for this position is: USD 90,000 - 180,000 This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education.
