Immigration Paralegal

Description We are looking for an experienced Immigration Paralegal to work with our international law firm client on a long-term contract basis. This role requires someone with expertise in employment-based immigration and a thorough understanding of immigration law. Candidates should be prepared to handle complex tasks and contribute to a high standard of work. Responsibilities: u2022 Draft and prepare visa petitions, including supporting documentation for PERM labor certifications and national interest waivers. u2022 Organize and review materials to ensure compliance with immigration regulations and submission standards. u2022 Conduct research on immigration laws and procedures to support case preparation. u2022 Collaborate with attorneys and corporate clients to gather necessary information for filings. u2022 Maintain case files and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. u2022 Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of immigration applications. u2022 Communicate with clients and government agencies to address inquiries and provide updates. Requirements u2022 Proven experience working in immigration law, particularly employment-based immigration. u2022 Strong knowledge of PERM labor certifications and national interest waivers. u2022 Ability to manage complex cases with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. u2022 Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet strict deadlines. u2022 Effective communication skills for client interaction and collaboration with legal teams. u2022 Proficiency in legal research and documentation.
