SENIOR PROPOSAL MANAGER

Snapshot of Your Day: We arelooking for a Senior Proposal Manager inRaleigh, NC to review request for proposals, commercial/technicaldocuments, drawing packages, site specifications, equipment and testingspecifications, and other engineering related documents to develop servicesolution for transformers. How Youu2019ll Make an Impact: + Identify and mitigateproject risks and liabilities. + Register request forproposals for transformer services from customer in database and track proposal stages. + Participate innegotiations and proposal revisions, as necessary. + Develop costs toexecute project based on documentation review, original equipmentmanufacturer standards and experience with similar projects executed. + Develop tailoredsolution proposals for power transformers; solutions aligned with thecustomersu2019 needs and expectations. + Apply technicalexpertise in power transformers to support the sales team to grow theservice market on other original equipment manufacturers. + Act as the keytechnical expert in power transformer to support the main gas and electricprovider in California. + Develop servicesolutions, prepare service proposal for submittal to customer, includingtechnical and financial descriptions, terms and conditions and anydocumentation such as forms, schedule, etc. + Comply with SiemensEnergy transmission services processes and requirements, includingcost/price determination, profit, cash flow, contractual terms andconditions, limit of authority and compliance requirements. + Receive orders fromcustomers, review/negotiate documents to certify proper resources areallocated for operations team to execute the project and maintain businesstargets. + Prepare order entrydocumentation to transfer awarded project to operations and contractadministration team. + Participate ininternal and/or external kickoff meetings as required to facilitate thesmooth transfer of orders. + 10% domestic travelrequired. + Telecommutingpermitted. What You Bring: + Bacheloru2019s degree in Electrical/MechanicalEngineering, or a related field and 8 years of experience. + Full term of experience must include: projectmanagement including subcontracted scope of work for parts,transport/relocation of transformers, IPB, Fire Deluge systems, etc.; + Knowledge of design, repair, upgrade, and installationrequirements of transformers; + Understanding of project requirements; + Microsoft Office Suite; + Customer relationship management software such asSalesforce; + Reading and reviewing electrical schematics; and + AutoCAD. + Experience must include 5 years with: design,manufacturing, quality control, and commissioning or services fortransformers, auto transformers, GSUs, up to 230kV or greater. + Experience must include 3 years with: contractmanagement. + 10% domestic travel required. + Telecommuting permitted. + The position is eligible for the Employee ReferralProgram. u00b7 Toapply, please email resumes to referencing job code: MK/CRC.Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Siemens Energy is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
