Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 10 years of experience in in business development, partnerships, management consulting, technology licensing, or commercial negotiations. + Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management. + Experience managing agreements or partnerships. + Experience with agreement principles, concerning data rights, Intellectual Property (IP), and privacy. About the job As a part of the Knowledge and Information Partnerships team (K&I), you will negotiate and manage partnerships for content (e.g., data licensing agreements), integrations (e.g., collaborations, product integrations) or distribution, helping build and differentiate Googleu2019s products in several areas, including Gemini, Search, Assistant, Geo (Maps, Local), Ads and Commerce. As a Business Development Principal Lead, GenAI, you will be responsible for strategically sourcing, negotiating, and securing critical third-party data partnerships to power Google Deep Mind's foundational AI models, particularly Gemini. You will act as the key liaison between Google Deep Mind researchers and external global partners, translating complex research needs into actionable data acquisition strategies, managing the end-to-end agreement life-cycle for high-value agreements, and ensuring a robust pipeline of data assets aligned with Gemini's
