Quality Control Technician

Job Title: Quality Control Technician Job Description The Quality Control Technician will follow established procedures for analysis and testing, adhering to quality control plans for specific material testing and specifications. The role involves preparing laboratory equipment and instrumentation for tests, conducting product tests to determine various characteristics, and accurately documenting results. Responsibilities + Follow written procedures for analysis and testing. + Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and tape measure to accuratly test product + Adhere to quality control plans for specific material testing and specifications. + Test and analyze products to determine strength, stability, purity, and other characteristics. + Document results of tests and analysis accurately on written worksheets and computer hardcopies. + Lift up to 65 or 70 pounds as needed. + Operate forklift safely and efficiently Essential Skills + Proficiency in quality control and data entry. + Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and tape measures. + Experience with plastic, metal or wood structures. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or GED required, or at least three years of lab work experience in plastic/wood technology and quality control testing. + Ability to read and write English. + Ability to read and interpret safety rules, Material Safety Data Sheets, written instructions, and procedure manuals. + Computer literacy with word processing and spreadsheet applications.
