Warehouse Associate Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role is integral to maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring that materials and products are handled with precision and care. Responsibilities + Monitor all material shortages/increases and react to messages through customer interface systems. + Maintain supplier Purchase Order dates. + Assist buyers in contacting and expediting with suppliers concerning part shortages and forecasts. + Assist buyers in obtaining Purchase Order Acknowledgements. + Unload delivery trucks from vendors. + Organize inbound deliveries. + Process receipts in a FIFO manner. + Deliver products to inventory rack or point of use. + Monitor queue for upcoming work. + Pull parts per picklist. + Check, pack, and ship products. Essential Skills + Experience with forklift operation. + Proficiency in shipping and receiving. + Skills in picking, packing, and material handling. + Knowledge of inventory control and order picking. + Familiarity with RF scanners and pallet jacks. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 1+ years of prior distribution experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting preferred. + Experience with MRP and/or ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools preferred. + Experience driving forklifts, including sit-down, standup, reach, and cherry picker is highly preferred. Work Environment and Shift Work in an industrial, large setting manufacturing environment that is air-conditioned, though tasks may require going outside to the yard for materials, which is not air-conditioned. First Shift (Monday - Friday) from 5AM - 3:30PM Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Orlando, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $16.50/hr.
