For more information, visit SolomonEdwardsPosition Summary:The RM Lead u2013 OCFO oversees the Resource Management function supporting the Office of the CFO consulting practice at Solomon Edwards Group (SEG). This role is responsible for ensuring seamless consultant onboarding, accurate project financial management, and consistent operational execution across the OCFO portfolio.The RM Lead oversees a team of 3-5 Resource Managers while remaining highly hands-on. Approximately 70% of the role is dedicated to direct RM execution, with the remaining 30% focused on people leadership, escalation management, and partnership with BFS leadership.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly detail-oriented, and brings strong operational judgment to evolving priorities.Essential Duties:Consultant Lifecycle& Compliance Manage onboarding for new employees and project consultants, including background check monitoring through equipment logistics. Conduct onboarding calls to introduce our firm, set expectations, and train on time/expense reporting. Support consultants with questions related to payroll, contracts, and processes. Ensure full compliance across contracts, payroll, and employment requirements.Project& Financial Operations Process and approve weekly timesheets and expense reports. Create and maintain projects in Cloud Coach (timekeeping and project financials) and JobScience (ATS/CRM) , reviewing pay/bill rates and revenue forecast, for the assigned team to ensure accuracy. Track project financials, purchase orders (POs), and forecasts to ensure alignment with budgets and bill rates. Handle client onboarding and system setup (VMS, procurement, due diligence documentation). Validate invoices for accuracy and timeliness.Analytics& Reporting Build and analyze Excel-based reports (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, text-to-columns, formulas). Generate management reports in ATS/CRM on billable hours, revenue, and forecast health. Identify trends, data gaps, and opportunities to improve process efficiency.Supervisory Lead, coach, and develop a team of Resource Managers supporting the OCFO practice. Ensure appropriate team coverage and continuity of service. Act as the primary escalation point for RM-related issues. Partner closely with OCFO leadership to align resourcing and operational execution with business needs. Maintain and continuously improve SOPs for RM processes.Qualifications: 2+ years of people management experience. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup formulas, and complex data manipulation. Experience working with ATS/CRM and operational systems (e.g., Cloud Coach, JobScience, Salesforce, Bullhorn). Experience supporting consulting, professional services, or staffing environments preferred. Strong analytical mindset with high standards for data accuracy. Clear, confident communicator with the ability to interact with consultants, internal leaders, and clients. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training.
