CNC Programmer / Machinist (Haas VF-2)

Responsibilities - Program, set up, and operate our **Haas VF-2 Vertical Machining Center** - Create and modify toolpaths using **Fusion 360 CAM** - Complete programming and setup from a **technical drawing or Fusion 360 model** - Select tooling, speeds, feeds, and work holding methods - Machine precision components with a high level of accuracy and consistency - Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools - Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize machining processes - Maintain a clean and organized machining environment - Train and mentor new staff on the **safe and efficient operation of CNC milling machines** Requirements - Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience - Minimum 1 year of Fusion 360 CAM experience - Experience operating **Haas CNC milling machines (VF-series preferred)** - Ability to program, set up, and run parts independently - Ability to read **technical drawings and CAD models** - Strong understanding of machining fundamentals, tooling, speeds, and feeds - High attention to detail and commitment to quality - Ability to **lift up to 40 lbs** Schedule Monday - Friday **8:30 AM - 5:00 PM** About Taylor Customs Taylor Customs is the custom firearm division of **Orion Wholesale**, specializing in precision machining, custom firearm components, and high-quality craftsmanship.
