Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this role, you will play a key part in managing vendor invoicing, payments, and reconciliations while ensuring compliance with company policies. If you excel in building vendor relationships, improving processes, and maintaining accurate financial records, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and code vendor invoices in adherence to company policies and procedures. u2022 Verify the accuracy of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documentation. u2022 Manage weekly payment runs, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire payments. u2022 Reconcile vendor statements by resolving billing errors, credit memos, and payment delays in collaboration with vendors and internal teams. u2022 Administer the Corporate Credit Card program, reviewing expense reports and ensuring adherence to travel and expense policies. u2022 Oversee the automated accounts payable system, identifying opportunities for process optimization and troubleshooting system issues. u2022 Respond to vendor inquiries promptly while fostering positive relationships. u2022 Maintain accurate records and documentation for accounts payable activities. u2022 Assist in month-end and year-end closing tasks, including accruals and reconciliations. u2022 Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting. u2022 Associateu2019s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or equivalent experience. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn enterprise systems such as Oracle. u2022 Strong numerical aptitude with the ability to calculate figures and percentages accurately. u2022 Knowledge of accounts payable processes, including invoice coding, payment runs, and vendor management. u2022 Experience with three-way matching and vendor invoice entry. u2022 Effective communication skills to manage vendor relationships and resolve discrepancies. u2022 Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
