About the Role: As a CBRE Meeting & Events Coordinator, you will assist with the coordination and execution of small to medium meetings, conferences, and events. This job is part of the Workplace Experience function. They are responsible for providing world-class customer service to the clients and visitors of a designated building. What Youu2019ll Do: u2022 Primary point of contact for smaller meetings and events. Provide support for larger and more complex meetings and events as needed. u2022 Work with clients, vendors, and team members to coordinate guest services. This includes arrival experience, transportation, signage, displays, special needs requirements, printing, and event security. u2022 Create a hospitable environment for attendees, event owners, and vendors on the day of the event. u2022 Assist with conference room turnover and midday room refresh. Reconfigure rooms for evening indoor and outdoor spaces. Take direction from senior team members. u2022 Respond to event activities such as gathering event supplies, equipment needs, food & beverage services, facility security, etc. u2022 Conduct room set up, refresh, and removal of food, beverage, and service items. Maintain outlines of small space configurations, decor possibilities, and event-related event items. u2022 Complete room checks and ensure technical and visual spaces are functional. Troubleshoot audio and technical issues. u2022 Manage a small inventory of event supplies. u2022 Coordinate master meeting and events calendar for small to medium-sized event spaces. Communicate events schedule with team and service providers. u2022 Assist with post-event reporting and reconciliation. Escalate potential issues and concerns as appropriate. u2022 Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion. u2022 Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail. u2022 Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance. What Youu2019ll Need: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. + Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred. + Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems. + Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset Why CBRE? The minimum salary for the Meeting & Events Coordinator position is $60,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Meeting & Events Coordinator position is $65,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidateu2019s skills, qualifications, and experience.
