JOB REQUIREMENTS: Project Manager Materialsin GAC Appleton UniqueSkills: A firm understanding of Corridor and its processes as it relatesto materials operations. Adept ability in the following Power BI -Report Building Sharepoint site building Sharepoint workflows BOBJ -Report Scheduling Stockroom / Warehouse organizing Education andExperience Requirements Bachelor's Degree in related curriculumrequired or equivalent combination of education and experiencesufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 5years related experience in project management or materials. PositionPurpose: Under general supervision, the Materials Project Manager isresponsible for coordinating and quantifying the continuous improvementprojects designed to improve efficiency by eliminating waste andcreating value for our customers. Job Description Principle Duties andResponsibilities: Essential Functions: Assist management and teammembers in establishing projects that align with the ContinuousImprovement Objectives and vision of the department. . Develop projecttasks, establish resources, and perform analysis of project costs. .Provide data analysis for projects return to department in dollarsand/or customer service in an effort to assist management inprioritizing projects. . Allocate work and assist in controllingutilization of the resource pool to ensure compliance with project workplan. Establish methods and/or track root causes and provide correctiveanalysis. Develop, track and close out action items. . Assist MaterialsManagement in the support of a Distribution Requirements/ResourcePlanning strategy to determine/satisfy demands for inventory at globaldistribution centers by optimizing current and future enterpriseresource planning applications. . Conduct weekly reviews as required.with management regarding continuous improvement objective/projectstatus. Maintain current, accurate records including bar charts, flowcharts, and other tools to track manpower requirements, budgetperformance and status of project. . If project is to be accomplished bya vendor, provide legal documentation to establish, append and follow-upwith project scope of work. Validate invoices provided by vendor. .Additional Functions: Ensure high visibility of project measurements(i.e. PDCA, Dashboard or Metrics). Develop and provide metrics forinventory accuracy. . Perform other duties as assigned. OtherRequirements: Certified Lean Specialist or Six Sigma Green Beltqualified preferred. Must possess a working knowledge of statisticaltools. Must possess project/process management analysis anddocumentation skills. Must possess computer literacy with enterpriseplanning tools. Experience with Cognos reporting, Microsoft Officesuite,...
