Role: Field Support Representative Level 1 Location: Portland, OR Mandatory skills: u00b7 Support for the handhelds, laptops, and scanner devices, u00b7 Provide Install Move Add Change (IMAC), Break-Fix and end user support activities as required. u00b7 Resolve Complex Client Computing Problems for Customer business customers and IT Service Areas. u00b7 Rack and Stack Support for commissioning/decommissioning infra devices to be provided. Job Description: u00b7 Provide Install Move Add Change (lMAC), Break-Fix and end user support activities as required. u00b7 Where required, provide support for the Manufacturing u201cShop-Flooru201d handhelds, laptops, and scanner devices. u00b7 Perform data collection/preservation activities as they relate to migrations and/or eDiscovery. u00b7 Stage Build and Image systems with standard client image (aka eCore). Job Qualifications: u00b7 Good Communication Skills. u00b7 Good Analytic/Troubleshooting Skills. u00b7 Strong working knowledge of MS Windows Operating System. u00b7 Working knowledge of MS Office and basic business application. u00b7 Good Customer Support Skills. u00b7 Minimum 2 years desk side support services. u00b7 Basic knowledge of networks, telecom, and compute/storage. u00b7 Basic knowledge of mobile device support. u00b7 Provide Install Move Add Change (lMAC), Break-Fix and end user support activities as required. u00b7 Provide support for the handhelds, laptops, and scanner devices. u00b7 Provide smart Hands and Feet support for across teams on demand u00b7 Rack and Stack Support for commissioning/decommissioning infra devices to be provided. u00b7 Provide physical access to vendors on demand for site/Communication rooms u2013 IDF/MDF/MMR and Data Center/Server room. u00b7 Good Knowledge and experience in managing Power Shut Down maintenance activities which includes shutting down network devices and servers in Data Center u00b7 Printer Management/usage monitoring and coordinate with Vendors to ensure print services continuity. u00b7 Co-ordination for cable patching with Vendors or enable on demand. u00b7 Ensure basic Network connectivity (LAN), Wi-Fi access / Video Tandberg / Printer/ Voice are available at site u00b7 Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability by end users u00b7 Manage IT Asset lifecycle management for the location/region including, asset collection coordination with vendor, secure storage, labelling, imaging, allocation, recovery, hygiene validation, disposal, and system updates u00b7 Experience in supporting overall manufacturing / lab IT systems and IT devices u00b7 Familiarity with manufacturing, lab or distribution center IT equipment u00b7 Includes but is not limited to scanners, printers, tablets, PCs attached to specialized test equipment, PCs used on the manufacturing line, etc.. u00b7 Advanced communications skills to work with multiple teams and/or OEMs on high priority issues u00b7 Advanced Microsoft skills (server support, etc.) u00b7 Knowledge / Experience on working in a Clean Room environment and/or Manufacturing environment u00b7 Strong focus on quality and attention to detail Benefits : Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: u00b7 Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance u00b7 Paid holidays plus Paid Time Off u00b7 401(k) plan and contributions u00b7 Long-term/Short-term Disability u00b7 Paid Parental Leave u00b7 Employee Stock Purchase Plan Disclaimer : The salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
