As a 2nd shift Production Supervisor at Terex Utilities,based in Waukesha, WI, you'll play a pivotal role in the day-to-daymanufacturing operations of Terex utility vehicles. What you'll doPerform daily safety audits to ensure team member safety. Completeproblem-solving activities to eliminate safety hazards. Escalateimmediate safety concerns and incidents to Safety team. Actively support5S actions within the plant. Document internal and external qualityissues. Discuss internal quality issues with team and completeproblem-solving activities to prevent recurring internal quality issues.Escalate external quality issues to Quality team with a sense ofurgency. Monitor pace of the line ensuring takt times are met. Escalateproduction stoppage and develop short term countermeasures. Review dailyschedule and sequence to ensure daily goals will be achieved. Plan forteam member absences to ensure production goals will be met. Reviewdaily staffing requirements to ensure productivity goals are maintained.Perform problem solving activities to eliminate waste and increaseefficiency. Track team member morale and discuss potential opportunitieswith team. Effectively communicate change to team members. Work withteam to complete rapid daily problem solving. Attend improvement eventsand communicate results and action items with team. Participate ininterview and selection process of new team members. Develop crosstraining plans for team members to learn all tasks within amanufacturing line. Participate in and complete performance evaluations.Coach and help team members understand KPI metrics and behaviors.
