JOB REQUIREMENTS: Logistics Specialist 1in GAC Appleton Unique Skills:Previous inventory control experience prefered - order fulfillment,cycle count, delivery of material, etc Education and ExperienceRequirements High School Diploma or GED required. Entry level.Experience with inventory systems preferred.. Valid Driver's Licenserequired. Position Purpose: Under moderate supervision, perform avariety of material handling, inventory coordination, and distributiontasks to support manufacturing, service centers, and logisticsoperations. Ensure timely and accurate movement, tracking, anddocumentation of materials in compliance with safety, quality, andregulatory standards. Job Description Principle Duties andResponsibilities: Essential Functions: Process pick tickets and materialrequests by pulling, issuing, and transporting parts to supportmanufacturing, service centers, spare parts sales, backshops and/ordistribution centers . Operate material handling equipment and companyvehicles to move materials between departments and designated locations. Unload freight and verify paperwork . Maintain inventory accuracythrough proper data entry and use of inventory management systems (i.e.SAP, Corridor, etc.) . Track parts to support schedules and customerrequirements . Demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality throughoutdaily operations by following established procedures, identifyingpotential hazards, and ensuring all work meets regulatory and companystandards . Handle Dangerous Goods per standards . Assist withinspection and tagging . Elevate discrepancies with clear communicationand follow-up actions . Maintain clean work environment . Participate inimprovement initiatives . Additional Functions: Ability to obtaincertification to operate material handling equipment and meet alltraining requirements . Support Lean and sustainability initiatives .Learn and apply Lean concepts . Perform other duties as assigned .Perform other duties as assigned. Other Requirements: Must have a validdriver's license. Must be able to obtain certification to operate aforklift and other material handling equipment. Able to comply with FAARegulations and Quality procedures on documentation. Must be able tolift 50 pounds. Must be able to work all shifts and weekends. This jobrequires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand theEnglish language.
