JOB REQUIREMENTS: Wisconsin Building Supply operates locationsthroughout Wisconsin supplying windows, doors, roofing, siding,millwork, builders hardware, columns, trim, mouldings, cabinetry,countertops, decking, railing, gypsum, lumber & plywood, insulation, andadditional building materials. . A Brief Overview The Pre-FinishAssembly Lead directs the work of Assemblers who assemble pre-finishcomponents. This position is a working role but is also responsible forleading a team who oversees the assembly process in an efficient manner.Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.00/hour What you will do Lay out sidingpre-finish components and materials; feed materials to conveyors orcarts. Assemble, stock, stack, package, label, and build loads ofsiding, trim, and accessories. Load and band finished materials oncarts/pallets inside or outside. Receive incoming materials and assistin monitoring inventory levels. Set up assembly processes and maintainestablished quality, efficiency, and productivity metrics. Operate andmaintain spray equipment; read paint labels and ensure correct coatingsfor each work order. Use banders, miter saws, and other facilityequipment; operate a forklift occasionally. Complete required paperworkand assist other areas as workflow demands. Maintain an organizedworkstation and contribute to a clean, safe, and orderly workenvironment, including emptying trash and keeping bays/staging areasorganized. Perform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks and signsoff when completed. Complete all necessary paperwork daily such asproduction logs, recording damaged product, and maintenance tasks.Serves in a working lead role overseeing fewer than 10 associates,directing daily work assignments and coordinating activities in advancedassembly, including final inspection, to ensure quality standards andproduction schedules are met. Education Qualifications HighSchool Diploma or equivalent work experience required. ExperienceQualifications 4-6 years of industry experience / Pre-Finish assemblyrequired. Skills and Abilities Must be able to read a tape measure anduse a hammer. Ability to learn to operate equipment such as routers,saws, presses, and staple guns.
