The Component Engineer Asc role will include a variety of tasks and activities as part of a team within Systems Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) organization, with a primary focus on electrical and electronic assemblies. Responsibilities will include: -As Designed and As Built Parts List Review -Supporting customer meetings to include the Parts, Materials & Processes Compliance Board. -Developing, monitoring and advocating for Non Standard Part Approval Requests As a Component Engineer Associate - Early Career, you will spend much of your time working in a team environment, obtaining inputs from other engineers, performing analyses, and creating presentations/reports. There may be some travel. You will interact with engineers, suppliers, quality, production operations, program managers, customers, and customer consultants. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, self-driven and can multitask as needed. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Bachelor's or Masteru2019s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Materials Engineering with emphasis on electrical parts, semiconductor physics or related field of study. u2022 Formal coursework, training, experience and/or knowledge in the design, analysis, and/or construction of electrical parts and circuits, semiconductor physics and/or operation of devices such as hybrids, integrated circuits, transistors, diodes and capacitors u2022 Knowledge of design, functionality, manufacturing, materials and processes used in EEE parts u2022 Ability to travel ~10% u2022 Ability to obtain/maintain Secret security clearance; US Citizenship Required Desired Skills: u2022 Familiarity with technical requirements (specifications, program plans/requirements, etc.) u2022 Experience participating in major program milestone reviews such as PDR and CDR u2022 Basic understanding of Nuclear effects on EEE parts and demonstrated ability to work closely with Survivability Engineers in strategic Rad Hard applications u2022 Familiarity with military specifications and engineering requirements u2022 Basic understanding of worst-case analysis (WCA) / EEE parts derating and end of life requirements u2022 Ability to evaluate current and developing technologies for EEE parts in complex design packages u2022 Experience or knowledge of failure analysis, destructive physical analysis and/or root cause and corrective action analysis related to EEE parts u2022 Experience establishing and implementing technical requirements (specifications, program plans/requirements, etc.) u2022 Active or Current Secret clearance or higher Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $57,500 - $101,430. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidateu2019s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
