This position provides daily leadership in one or more work areas on a shift through guidance from upper-level supervisors.Shift: 1stWhat You Will Do:Coordinates, provides leadership and reviews work of assigned members.Read and follow schedules in order to determine needed product while adhering to all quality standards and safety rules.Leads workers to maintain a work pace that supports goals.Plans and schedules for maintenance and service of assigned equipment.Acts as liaison with other departments, units, or organizations.Prepares reports (MDI, Pareto, safety, etc.) concerning activities of assigned departments.Follow standard work for all positions performed; suggest and document improvements to standard work.Work with support team (Distribution Center Manager, MCR, Quality members and Factory Manager) to address issues or concerns.Maintain daily metric boards (6S, productivity, quality, etc) for area.Support training of new membersCommunicate daily targets and lead daily area meetingsLead safety/quality executive walksApply organizational policies and assures adherence to departmental, plant and organizational procedures. Recommend and implement changes in methods and/or procedures.What You Have: 3+ years of lead experience in a warehouse or distribution center environmentOperating ForkliftsOperating Clamp TrucksInventory Scanning
