Job Details Job Details Job Title RRT Job Summary Travel RRT needed for a 13-week assignment in Clinton, MD. Responsibilities include providing respiratory care to patients in the Adult Critical Care, ED, and during transports. Must have strong skills in various respiratory therapies and equipment. Locals within 60 miles accepted at a lower rate. Key Responsibilities Provide respiratory care to patients as prescribed by physician orders. Perform airway management, including intubation assist, extubation, and airway suctioning. Administer aerosolized medications and oxygen therapy. Manage ventilators, including troubleshooting alarms and weaning patients. Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs). Perform chest physiotherapy. Provide tracheostomy care and management. Monitor patients for respiratory distress and respond accordingly. Sputum specimen collection Document patient care accurately and completely in Cerner. Provide care to Neonates, Adults and Geriatrics Required Qualifications RRT or CRT certification ACLS and BLS certifications 2 years of experience Adult Critical Care, ED, and Transport experience Community Hospital Experience Must have either a compact license or an MD license. Some units will accept a pending MD license (see job description to confirm). A later start date may be accepted if the traveler has applied for MD licensure.
